Resort Charge: The Resort Charge is $19.00 (plus tax) per room per night and covers the following services and amenities:  self-parking, in-room high speed internet access (wired and wireless), toll free calls, local telephone calls up to 60 minutes; on-resort shuttle transportation, fitness club access including workout room, steam room and sauna at The Heavenly Spa by Westin, use of tennis racquets and courts, golf club storage, use of the chipping and putting greens and driving range (including the use of complimentary clubs), and access to the private beach located at our sister property, The Westin Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC.

Getting There:

From East:
Take US Highway 80 West to Island Expressway West.  Proceed to General Macintosh Boulevard and continue to Bay Street.  Turn left onto MLK Boulevard.  Turn right onto West Oglethorpe and proceed to 17 North across the Talmadge Bridge. Exit at Hutchinson Island and follow Wayne Shackelford Boulevard to Resort Drive.

From North:
Take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 16 East.  Take Exit 166 onto 17 North across the Talmadge Bridge. Exit at Hutchinson Island and follow Wayne Shackelford Boulevard to Resort Drive.

From West:
Take interstate 16 East to Exit 166.  Take 17 North across the Talmadge Bridge. Exit at Hutchinson Island and follow Wayne Shackelford Boulevard to Resort Drive.

From South:
Take Interstate 95 North to Interstate 16 East. Take Exit 166 onto 17 North across the Talmadge Bridge. Exit at Hutchinson Island and follow Wayne Shackelford Boulevard to Resort Drive.

Directions from the Savannah International Airport:
(13.4 miles/ 20 mins)

  • Exiting the airport you will follow I-95 South to I-16 East in the direction of Savannah.
  • From I-16 E you will exit RIGHT on Exit 166 and stay in the LEFT LANE, following the signs to Hwy 17 (North) (Charleston/Hardeeville).
  • These signs will lead you onto the large suspension bridge spanning the Savannah River (the Talmadge Bridge).
  • Once on the bridge merge into the RIGHT lane and above your head you will see signs for Hutchinson Island.
  • At the bottom of the bridge the RIGHT lane exits and you will be on the access road that will bring you straight to the Westin.  There are also signs pointing you to the hotel.

Directions to the Savannah International Airport :
(13.4 miles/ 20 mins)

  • Leaving the hotel, stay in the LEFT lane of the access road going back toward the Talmadge Bridge.
  • Follow the signs for I-16 West, The left lane you are in will force you to turn LEFT taking you under the bridge and looping you around to the RIGHT to get back on it.
  • Go across the bridge and stay on this road and allow it to merge you onto I-16 West.
  • Take I-16 West and take Exit 157 B (I-95 North) towards the airport.
  • About five miles up on I-95 you will exit on Exit 104 to the airport.
  • Follow the signs and have a safe trip.
